Tocqueville Society
Membership Amount: $10,000
Your Leadership.
Our Mission.
Stronger Communities.
The Tocqueville Society is a highly impactful group of generous donors, deeply connected to Northeastern NC, and personally invested in bettering the lives of individuals and families in these communities. Tocqueville donors are passionate members of our community who lead with their heart and stretch in their giving to further the mission of Albemarle Area United Way.
The Tocqueville Society is named for French author Alexis de Tocqueville, a 19th century diplomat who applauded the American desire to take a personal role in the advancement of society by combining philanthropy and service. That same American passion for philanthropy lives on…Tocqueville Society members choose to be leadership donors giving at least $10,000 per year, because they have both the means and the strong desire to make an impact in our community.
In a rural region with very limited resources, these dollars are invested to transform lives. From providing nutritious food to school children over the weekend to swimming lessons for all youth in a region surrounded by water to aiding families avoid eviction, your United Way is “saving” lives.
Together we can further our mission to build stronger, healthier communities across Northeastern NC. Are you ready to lead?
